I have an Amiga500 with the 2.1 system and 3meg of ram. I am trying to locate a
gif conversion program that I can use on my system to view graphics that I
download off CompuServe. I would appreciate some help in locating the right one

FastGif is a very good, B&W Gif previewer. It is the fastest Ive ever seen on
my 500. ViewTek is supposedly the way to go for 2.0+ users. Amgif is a time
consuming but reliable way to convert Iff to Gif. All these files are
available on the Graphics Utilities Library in this Forum. Btw…I have also
used Dispgif to convert Gifs to Ham and save the conversions, Dispgif and Amgif
work only from the CLI.
