It's worth the price!!!!!
Let ya know on the DCTV u/g
Hi, I have Brilliance 2.0 (which is THE BEST animation software) and have
a suggestion for the next release. I have a PAR card and have to use ADPro
to convert my HAM-8 animations to 24-bit files and save the frames to the
PAR card for accurate 30-fps playback. Under the save animation requester
you have a "save sequential files" button which is great, but how about a
save "24-bit RGB" button like in the save picture requester? This way I
could side step the ADPro converstion step and save my anim right to the
PAR.

Well you do know that the HAM-6 or HAM-8 color res not full 24bit? I have
argued that point though.

I do not understand what you are trying to say. If you mean can I see a
difference between HAM-8 and 24 bit, I'dd have to admit that most pictures
look the same in either resolution. However thta is not what I'm looking
for. Brilliance and an Amiga 4000/040 can not run complicated animations
at 30 fps., therefore I import the animation to the PAR which can play the
anim back at a steady 30 fps. The PAR software will only convert 24 bit
files to itself, I have to manually convert the frames the 24 bit using
ADPro, then save them to the PAR card. If True Brilliance and even
Brilliance could save in a 24 bit format (not that all the resolution had
to be there) it would make my life a lot easier.

James, True Brilliance will save in 24-bit color, according to the manual.
I haven't used it in that mode myself.

True Brilliance will save a single frame in 24 bit only in the "save
picture" requester. I would like to have that option when saving an
animation. I would like it to have a SAVE SEQ. 24-bit button in the SAVE
ANIMATION requester.

Greg- I ordered Brilliance 2.0- such a great deal I couldn't pass it up- and I
want to support Amiga developers…BUT I was wondering…. Are you guys
planning on a "Brilliance 3.0" ?? Or is this a last attempt to get as much $ as
possible from the Amiga?- I know your new Parent company ("Play") is a PC
oriented deal- What I HOPE is going to happen, is that you'll make enough
money from this great sale to keep someone working on Brilliance 3.0- (I still
wish I had DCTV 2.0..and the animation system that was SUPPOSED to be available
for that) This is not a flame- just concern. Thanks
