Daryyl, I purchased a Fargo Preimera printer with the dye sublimation option almost immeditely upon its introduction several months ago. My recollection is I paid approximate $600 for the printer at that time. If you are doing color printing, in my opinion this is a very fine printer. Graphics in the thermal wax (cheaper) mode of printing are excellent. In the dye sublimation mode, photorealistic printing is possible. I have shown friends 8 X 10 in prints made from Photo CD images on the Primera in the dye sub mode and they thought they were photographs. There are several drivers now available for the Amiga/Primera combination. Fargo makes a driver for the Amiga. Wolf Faust here on CIS has written a driver for the Primera called Studio Printer. The latest version of AdPro supports dye sublimation printing on the Primera, and Image FX v. 1.5 supports dye sublimation printing with the Primera. I have not tried Studio Printer, but both the Fargo and the AdPro drivers give very nice results on the Amiga with the Primera. I think you will be very pleased with the Primera. Tom
