Brent, I notice that there's a new ad in the November VTUser for a program called Impact. They seem to use some of the same terminology as the Newtons Law crowd did. (force fields, engines, motors, ect) It's even got a special introductory price. If it's the same people back under a different name and they've already burned buyers with the Newtons Law preorders, somebody should complain to VTUser about being involved in this. Jeff H… (I wonder how much money I could collect if I advertized a program that would allow you to do real-time rendering with LightWave 3.5 on a stock Amiga 500 with 512k of ram?)

It makes you wonder doesn't it. People see advertising for a product and immediately accept it as a real product. Until it ships, it truly doesn't exist. If you've followed the Amiga market for a long time, what happened to the following products? The V Machine (Digital Creations) The Roaster Chip for the Centaur Video Board Photon Accelerator Brent

Here's my $1500.00 Just kiding… I called "Dyamic Realities" they said that they would unvaile Impact at the VT Expo next month. They also said that they will have it there for sale. That was all they really wanted to say. Oh yea they also said that it was developed for the LW4.0 Modular technology. the girl who answered the phone just seemed to tell me every thing I wanted to here. I'll still wait to see it. <they also said that it was developed for the LW4.0 Modular technology> At the moment, this claim could not possibly be true. The developers toolkit for LW and Modeler at the moment has absolutely no support for scene files. It is at this point, a direct connection to LW Modeler. We too will support the plug-in technology, if it allows us to do what we want to. Otherwise, we will continue to produce stand-alone versions of the program. Brent

Brent: I may have miss quoted them but the question which alisited a positive response was some thing like, "will this work as a Plug in for 4.0?" I hope you don't have to go through this all again. Well if they show at the show well know. (poetry not intended). Boo-Radley Hayes Visual Communication
