#Cirrus Logic Drivers

Help! I've got a Cirrus Logic AL G543x Accelerator 2mb Dram in my system and would like to use a Vibrant driver. It's not listed in Vibcfg. Is there another card I can substitute for it? I'm using the VESA driver now, but I just *know* there must be a better way. Thanks in advance! Steve – Vivid

Steven, Try using one of the Cirrus 542X drivers. They might work with the 5423. Jh

Jeremy I've tried that one, it's ok for main-display but that driver only goes 256 colors. It's the 543x driver I'm loking for though, not the 542x. Might there be another Mfg driver i can use in it's place? Steve – Vivid

<Might there be another Mfg driver i can use in it's place?> Not that I'm aware of unless Cirrus has a RCPADI driver which will probably be slower, but might give you the 16.7M colors you're looking for. Jh
