#AMAZING COMPUTING

Hello. I am the Managing Editor for a new publication, Amazing Computing. We
are a publication dedicated to the Amiga user and Amiga programer. We have
had a great response from the dealers and we should have the magazine
available the first week of January. Due to the quick response of dealers and
authors, we will be going to press on time. However, we have AD SPACE
AVAILABLE and wev are priced too low. If you are a Software or Hardware
developer for the Amiga, please contact me, Don Hicks, either here

time in our first issue, but we do want to carry your ad! Due to the policies

Is your magazine going to be a little more in-depth/technically oriented as
compared to AmigaWorld. I buy copies of AmigaWorld (I don't subscribe) but
really find it to be filled with pretty useless and filled with a lot of
"consumer-type" drivel. Witness this months two page article on Lisp and the
history of AI and the last issues terrifically informative article about the
"wonderful C language" but they have a veeery long article about Andy Warhol.
I hope your publication will be a little more informative. Is it going to be
sold at bookstores/newstands, or by subscription only? thanks – and good

Our hope is to make Amazing Computing a magazine for Amiga users (read doers!).
We want to publish as much information and actual program listings as is
possible. Our first issue carries a terminal program in basic, a simple
graphics program a simple graphics program, a 'C' tutorial, a section on
Commodore Developer support, a list of products with actual and expected
deliveries, as well as a list of other goodies.
We are working hard to give the user a magazine they will use and keep as
reference. We are starting small and building and we are always working with
new writers and programmers.
Our position is that the Amiga is a great machine that should survive if
better information is available and less rumors are spread.
We have been marketing the magazine to the Commodore Amiga dealers and our
first issue will be there. However, not everyone of the dealers has taken us
up on our "wild and crazy" ideas. Ask your dealer if he has responded to our
25% free offer. If he doesn't want to carry our small work…… call me, Don

first printing quanity, we are selling ad space "DIRT CHEAP." IF YOU ARE

on how the product performs and how the customer may use the product in their
