P.S. It doesn't matter if you sent us the warranty card or not. However, it's
easier for us to send this kind of information to those of you who did. In
addition, we're starting to send goodies to people who sent in warranty cards,
like our new magazine, FARTHER. So keep sending those cards and letters. And,
as always, thank you for your continued support.

Jeff, one other thing, seems that the only people I have heard of who received
upgrade cards from EA were unprotected disk owners. Is that true, and if so –
why?
Marlene
I don't know. I suppose that mailing just went out first. Nevertheless, we
intend to keep all our customers informed. For instance, we are now sending
out copies of FARTHER, the EA magazine, to everybody who has returned a
warranty card in the past year. In addition, we are working on the first issue
of DELUXE NEWS, to go out to all Deluxe products owners.

Sounds great Jeff, who do I send a change of address to?
Marlene
Good question. Try EA Customer Service; 1820 Gateway Drive; San Mateo, CA
94404.

thanks
I've got 5 EA Amiga products — guess it's about time I send in the warranty
from at least 1 of them!
JJ, I am STILL waiting for my disks! Bri
Jeff,
Thanks for the information! Appreciate it.
Don
Jeff, a friend of mine called EA the other day and they told him $57 for
unprotected. Is that for a protected AND unprotected disks? Or was it just
mis-information. Hope they send him a refund if what they said was wrong!
Marlene
It is $57 to go from PROTECTED DP I to UNPROTECTED DP II. In essence, that's
the same as an upgrade ($37) plus the fee for unprotected ($20). Just pay it
all in one fell swoop. But you only get the unprotected version, not a
protected and unprotected disk. (The latter is just silly.)

Thanks Jeff…Marlene
