Thanks for the info Larry. Seems the best bet is a used security camera (the
ones used in banks, stores, etc.).

Marlene,
For some reason, those security cameras seem to be rather expensive compared
to consumer types. Even used ones I've seen are pricy.
If you do find a used security camera, be sure to try it out, as some of them
tend to suffer from "burn-in" after staring for years at the same scene.
Regards, Larry.
Larry, I'm going to use DVII and a color camera…no use in getting the B&W now
since their new software filters out the grainy stuff caused by the color
camera.
Thanks tho for the info.
Marlene
Marlene,
Another thing to bear in mind is that a colour camera is not as good as a B&W
for resolution, software notwithstanding. I don't know how much it will affect
DV, as it is limited in resolution by the Amiga. Essentially if a colour camera
is capable of 640 across, you will not lose anything by going to one.
Happy digitizing! Regards, Larry.
Make sure it has 2:1 interlace or it is useless <for DV>.
thanks Jeric, I'll make sure it does….Marlene
