[AHello all GRIDIRON fans,
Well, the people at Bethesda Software have done it again. They've
upgraded GRIDIRON 1.0 to 1.1 and its fantastic! All the features that were
missing are now there.
* Random penalties
* Random fumbles
* Load playbooks in the middle of a game!
* Tougher computer team
* Load a team for the computer player
* Fumble stats
There may be more but I've only played 1.1 once. The computer players are
smarter now. They no longer run into the offensive linemen, the bump off and
run for more yardage. They've also learned to make cuts down the field. If you
haven't sent for the upgrade, do it now! What else could I want? How about the
ability to use two Amigas for a game instead of one. That way you could select
your defensive player without your opponent knowing which one you've selected.

What's the procedure for upgrading to V1.1? What great news! I play
in an NFL Challenge league and we keep bitching about all the problems
with that game… it's nice to see a company not resting on its laurels
(or hardies for that matter). Nevin
I would also like to know what the procedure is for upgrading…I was VERY
pleased with the first version…and can only IMAGINE how much better the
