I do have the reset pin connected to my printer and my A-Time works
perfectly. The point I was making was that some printer cables have the
reset pin connected to the wrong pin of your printer. In these cases
(since you are not using the reset pin anyway) is better to disconnect it
or rehook it to the correct pin of your printer.
By the way there is no place for anything in my 2nd mouse port because
THAT IS WHERE I HAVE MY *** SUPERBASE *** DONGLE.
I had A-Time for 10 months and not a bit of trouble (I never hook anything
to my Amiga before I check its connections. People have been frying Amigas
because thay did not check the serial cable of their modem. Never trust
anything unless it has the seal of Amiga on it, and I have yet to see a
printer from CBM for the Amiga).

Amiga printers from CBM: MPS-1000 (I've got one of these), MPS-1200 (I think
this one needs an extra personality module for Amiga use). Of course, CBM's
never been known to sell the best printers in the world, and there's a good
reason for this. The MPS-1000 is OEMed from Epson, the MPS-1200 I think from
Citizen. Neither of these companies really wants to sell CBM their newest,
coolest, do-everythingist top of the line printer, cause they want to be the
ones to sell it. So CBM's OEMed printer, though maybe a bit cheaper, probably
won't be quite as amazing as the best in any one year from Epson, Citizen, or
other printer manufacturers. But the Amiga works well with just about any
printer, so there's no reason to wait to find one from CBM, though they are out
there if you want one. -Dave
