Amiga 2000 Keyboard

Im having a problem with the Amiga 2000 keyboard while it's running in
the ibm environment. I am using keymap usa1 per your suggestion in CO,
however, when I am in the ibm environment, the seperate cursor controls print
#'s instead of moving the cursor around on the screen when I have the NUMLOCK
on. When the numlock is off, they function correctly and allow me to navigate.
An ibm machine that has a seperate cursor control pad will allow the user to
activate numlock and use the numeric keypad for numbers (and +-*/()) and the
seperate cursor control keys as left, right, up or down arrows. Could you
check in to this for me and see if CA has some kind of *fix* for this? The Usa1
keymap works beautifully under the Amiga environment. Thanks for your help

John, a friend of mine just got a new CBM keyboard for his A2000 that fixes all
bugs related to running in the ibm environment.

BTW, is that the keyboard with the A500 function keys? Is that a valid
thing to look for to make sure you've got a good keyboard?

John, yes it's the keyboard with the 500 Fkeys. Maybe you can check with CBM
or your rep for us and find out if there is a way to upgrade. BTW, it works
perfectly with Transformer.

Thank you Marlene, for the good news. I have a customer about ready to jam his
2000 down my throat because of the keyboard. I don't like bytes or even bits
of computer stuck in my teeth, so… 🙂 As soon as I get some info on the
upgrade policy I will pass it along.
