Hello out there!
I have just uploaded the current latest version of Matt Dillon's DME
text editor (Version 1.28f). It is a VERY powerful and flexible text editor.
Unfortunately it is as powerful as the script file written for it is (and it
doesn't come with a powerful script file). I have recently become interested
in Dillon's CSH, which also is somewhat dependent on a script file to take
advantage of its capabilities!
I would really like to generate some exchange in script files that
people use with these powerful pieces of software. It is easier to tailor
something already written, rather than "re-discover the wheel"!
What about it you guys (and gals)! Anyone want to share?

Welcome to the world of Unix (or almost unix). I have been using one
of the shells now for over a year and almost can't operate the Amy without the
shell in place. Don't know if you have caught some of the discussions in the
recent past but the shell (ver 207) does not work with the initial CLI. Thus
those of us that are using an A-2000 invoke a new CLI with a "from s:start" or
something similar and kill the initial CLI via the usual endcli > nil:
I was unaware of the problem with the new machine since I have also be
starting the shell from a second CLI on my A-1000 for other reasons. It seems
that the total time for boot up (including starting the shell with its .login
file) is considerably faster using the 2 nd cli and I did not even try the
initial CLI on my A-2000.
Don't forget to change your AmigaDOS path to the HD before you initate
the shell and set up the _path variable in your login file (it default to
include df0 and df1). Later as I am still on a very busy schedule,
