I'm curious when we will get to see Music X. ks interesting. Especially the
ability to edit and store patches for synthesizers (like the DX 27/100). A very
useful editing features would be the ability to select specific notes in a
track and then manipulate them. (I.E. select all the Es in a passage and move
them forward 10 clock cycles). This would be dynamite for worki with MIDI drum
machines (to get a more human feel). When will we get to see this program?
From the Beta I've seen, it may be a few months. However … it is Fast and can
move blocks of notes around. Most of the Beta's menus don't do anything, the
patch editors and librarians and Mapper aren't done yet and the Scale-notation
is definitely nowhere now. However, it will be nice if this stuff actually gets
working. Natch, it eats soundscrape in the interface department, but I'm not so
sure you couldn't do with Dr.T's KCS, coming up shortly – for about $100 less?

Thanks for the info. I am definitely not happy with Soundscape–it's very
awkward to use. I haven't heard too much about the Dr T product–good things
about the IBM and C64 versions, but nothing specific about t Amiga version. I
want something easier to use that deals with short segments and allows easy
looping I hope one of these sequencers will suit my needs. Thanks again for the
word..
