Do you know of anyone who has built the JTime clock found in dl11?
I have been working on it and have found a problem in the schematics.
I'd appreciate it if you could 'turn me on' to someone who has successfully
built it.

A friend of mine built it. I think he had problems with the chip itself,
since the one he got did not have a builtin crystal, and needed an external
timebase and crystal. Other than that, I don't know. If you'd like to tell me
what problems you had, I'd be glad to ask him about his.

I used the chip they suggested in the text. The problem I have is that I am not
really an electronics expert (just enough knowledge to be dangerous). In the
schematic pictures….They were too big for one picture and it was divided into
a top half and bottom half. It seems to me that the schematic for IC3 has a
discrepancy between the top picture and the bottom picture (where the two
halves meet). I'd appreciate it if you could ask him if he ran into that or if
he understood it…if he could pass on the proper pin connections between IC1
to IC3 and IC3 to IC4.

I've made a hard copy of your message, as I can't get hold of the fellow
right now. Seems he is out of town visiting relatives for the holidays. As soon
as I contact him, I'll see what i can find out.
