Interfont arrived today. Thanks. I'm planning to fiddle with it this evening.

What's the difference between Interfont and Fancy fonts 3D???
Pat – Fancy Fonts are pre-created font sets. They are 3D objects created
for use with Turbo Silver (and the lesser programs). Interfont on the
other hand is a program which actually lets you create 3D Text objects from
existing Amiga fonts. With the interfont package, once you have the font
created, you can simply type in lines of text, and an entire 3D object is
created for you with all the letter perfectly lines up and spaced. The
advantage of this method is that the entire text can be manipulated as one
object. <– Stan
So with Interfont, I could be able to use ZUMAFONTS with either Turbo or
Sculpt!?? Pat.
Pat – You Betcha! Just make sure that you have the Turbo Silver Module.
I've been messing around quite alot with Interfont that past several days,
and it's a very slick package. Easy to use, nice interface, and with all
of the weird stuff I have in my machine it never has crashed. <–Stan
InterFont is a system for designing your own 3D fonts, and then making
titles with them… Six pre-made fonts are included, along with an editor
to make your own. You just enter a word, like "AMIGA", and an object is
created in the format you want – Sculpt, VideoScape, Turbo Silver, or Forms
In Flight. You can also set the height, italics, bolding, texture and
color of the letters, or make them flat or extruded block letters. You can
also adjust the relative smoothness of curves.
With Fancy Fonts, you get disks and disks of Sculpt objects, one for each
letter. You load in each character, and line them up in Sculpt. You can't
adjust anything directly… obviously, I think InterFont is a better
solution.
