If the single frame VCR can be controlled by an Infrared remote control, then you can get a little dohickey by Interactive Microsystems which can control it. You might need to do some programming to integrate it with whatever you have rendering images, though… –>Steve Bennett

Actually, this takes us off on a new tangent. Are you saying that Interactive Microsystems has a device that allows you to program your Amiga to emit infrared remote control signals?? What a concept! I can have my Amiga control the VCR, TV, etc via infrared!

You betcha! The MediaPhile Programmer's Toolkit even has an ARexx interface!

Who is Interactive Microsystems? What sort of IR product do they have?

They have an adapter (I think it hooks to a joystick port and the parallel port…) which can record and playback Infrared signals, and thus can be used to control any IR controllable device. Very nice idea.

Do you have any more information about this device? I'd love one, and would think it would be more popular. I know lots of Amigaphiles (like me) who have 3-4 IR devices in the same room as our Amiga, and it would be *so* nerdy to be able to control them from the Amiga screen, instead of those little hand-held gizmos.
