I don't have a boat, so maybe I'll use it as a planter> I Have a shareware program called Print Driver Generator which is supposed to create any driver, but I'm afraid It's a bit over my head! Glenn, Tredex (800-338-0939) sells the ribbons for the Seikosha. As for the driver, I even tried calling Seikosha's tech line (800-422-7768). They seemed quite amused, but were not very helpful. Pizzaz! software drives it for my MS-DS computer, but Pizzaz! desn't come in an Amiga version.

Cherie, I can't seem to find my owners manual at the moment (it's like compu-hell in here!!),but when I find it I'll see if maybe this turkey perhaps emulates an Epson color printer,or something like that. If so,perhaps a driver for one of those will work. If you have your manual handy, maybe you could look it up and let me know. I'm not suprised that Seikosha couldn't help you. The person there probably never even heard of am Amiga. I wonder if a call to Commodore would be more productive….hmmm. I'm amazed ANYBODY sells ribbons for the thing. Glenn

Glenn, Seikosha DID tell me that this printer is compatible with a Transtar 315 (whatever that is!) I do have my manual, but it offers no compatibility suggestions. I've tried it with all the 9 pin dot matrix printers on the Extras 1.3 disk. No luck. Maybe it has somethig to do with the DIP switch settings. I just ordered a reconditioned Diablo C-150 color inkjet (only $400!) which will be great for graphics, but I'd still love to get the Seikosha running! Perhaps, as you suggested, Commodore could be helpful. The only other hope is to find some fanatic programmer who just LOVES creating printer drivers. (HA!) Cherie
