Does anyone know of a programmable IR remote control that has, say, a
serial port for interfacing with an Amiga or IBM? I have seen stand-alone
programmable IR remote controls, and it seems like a natural for
controlling a whole range of entertainment gear with the Amiga.
I have a blurb here from the Amazing Computer's product guide about a thing
called the 'MediaPhile Infared Controller'.. about $200 from Interactive
Microsystems, Inc… looks like it's meant for controlling video decks,
etc.. the description says "Learn commands from any infared remote control
and send them from the computer".. is this what you're looking for? says
