Hello, I have Lattice 5.04, and I'm writing a program that uses drand48(). It crashes on the call to drand48() for no particular reason. I tried compiling it with 5.02 and it runs fine.(It crashes when I run it) Does anybody know of a patch which may fix that? or is there another way to produce linear random numbers? Thanks Raja

This is a known bug to version 5.04; a patch file is available on the Lattice BBS.

Is it fixed? I saw a message on Bix from a user who was still having problems with it, even after applying the 5.04 patch. I'd ask Mike Roth to make sure it really fixed it. BTW, I am a Manx employee, so anything I say re: Lattice should probably be taken w/ a grain of salt. -Mike

Yes, this bug, along with others, is fixed in fix504a.arc which is available on our BBS and on BIX. — Mike Roth / Lattice

Hmmm… Would it be possible if you could upload it to me? Because LBBS for me is a very long distance call.. Thanks Raja
