Yeah, well, the idea was to put a Practical Peripherals Modem in the Amiga and
have the Bridgeboard access that modem. I have some Banking Software that only
runs on an IBM, and I therefore need a modem.

I think any Hayes compatible modem will work with either machine. However,
your IBM side serial port may not have the same number of pins as the Amiga
side. IN that case, you just get a cable that has the IBM style 9 pin serial
plug on one end.
