Does an Amiga 1000 owner require an expansion chassis in order to use C.Ltd's hard disks? If not, or if a chassis is optional, where do they attach?

Thomas – For the 20 MB disks no expansion chassis is needed. It attaches to the SCSI controller which in turn attaches to the expansion port. Isn't it so, Ed ? Joergen

No chassis is required. The C Ltd SCSI controller plugs in the expansion bus on the right side of your Amiga. A cable goes from the controller to the Hard Drive Unit. Anything else you need to know? You should be able to see one at your local Amiga dealer. E.J. Lippert II C Ltd. Wichita, KS (316) 267-6321

Ed– Wish I could go to my dealer and take a look! They don't have a SCSI or hard disk drive and say that they pleaded with your outfit to get something but that due to low production levels they were left with nothing. Something about only 100/month being built and they didn't manage to get any of them. Is this story anything like the truth? In any case how would I go about getting a SCSI controller? I haven't pressed the matter until now because I've not been using the Amiga until I get the new TDI compiler. With that due to ship shortly (I hope) I'm starting to think again of how to get a hard disk controller. Tom
