Has anyone tried the AST6PAK with the A2286 AT bridgeboard? If you have, I am interested in knowing how well it works. Thanks in advance. Tim

I have it's close cousin the AST6Pack Premium and after a bit of tinking about,it works just fine. I have 512k on the board which gives me 384 above 640. I decided to put a pseudo hard disk in this area using the AST software. The only caveat, is that the disk is "hardcoded" to label itself D. (I have a PC hardcard installed). This causes conflicts with jlink which has similar hardcoding with it's virtual drives starting with D even if not linked. The solution was to junk Jdisk.sys. With the AST fastdisk and my hard disk,I don't need virtual disks on the Amiga side. If I didn't use the AST FastDisk, there is no problems with Jlink. I will continue to experiment, using Vdisk in place of Fastdisk and see how Jlink takes to the idea. But as I said, Jlink is no longer needed as the AST and it's FASTdisk work perfectly. I have run ProCommPlus Test Drive from the serial port and will experiment with my Polaroid Palette next. One more thing, I suggest you configure the AST paralel port as LPT2: to avoid conflicts with the Bridge LPT1: emulation. FL
