I'm looking for a color printer for graphics output; preferably one that can double as a text printer with laser or inljet quality. Any recommendations? Thanks, David

David, I am using a Citizen MSP-50 with color package. It is a 9 pin dot matrix using a black/red/blue/yellow ribbon. Teh quality is *not* laser or ink-jet quality. If I were to be doing a lot of color printing, I would get either the HP Inkjet or the Xerox 4020. The replacement ink cartridges are rather expensive tho. I use a Roland DXY-980 plotter for colored structured graphics from CAD programs. Michael

My personal favorite (at the moment) is the Sharp JX-730 Ink Jet. I've seen it advertised for $1699 in Briwalls ad in the Dec. AmigaWorld.

How about thew HP paintjet? I've seen it as low as $995 or the Paintjet XL 11*17 pages it'll take and costs around $1800
