#Old drive new controller

Can anyone tell me if I can hook-up my old Cltd drive connnected to Amiga 1000 to an Amiga 2000 with a ICD controlller card? Robert

Robert, If your old drive is either a SCSI drive or an ST-506 drive with a SCSI adapter, you should be able to connect it. Someone else, though, recently reported problems in trying to do this. You will need some jumper setting information about the drive and will have to adjust the SCSI termination resistors so that only the last drive on the chain has the terminators installed. I think My old Cltd is a ST with a controller to make it SCSI. If so than I can connected it to my new ICD controller that has a 25 for external hook-up of drive? This mean I must have a connector that is about 2 inch long 25 connector and a 1 inch 25 pin connector for it to work. Robert
