Bill, the update from Howard Benner is that he MIGHT consider making the code available ONLY if Bela does the job. This is tentative at this point so if you want to let him know that you are in love with the program and also want to see it on your Amiga his ID# is

Dave: Thanks but it is a good thing that I already have his ID#. Your message ended with 'his ID# is'. Yes I will contact him. I am not too anxious to move on this as I am still learning about the features of ZapCis and will need more time an experiance with it to see what 'enhancements' might be nice and for that matter what should not be included because of the AMIs multitasking. Still plan to call you. I am in San Luis Obispo at the Howard Johnson Motor Motel. Things are still 'in the air' as to what happens next and when. 73s, bill

Bill, I realized after Isent the message that I had forgotten to put his ID# in there. Since you have it I won't bother. Good ol' Howard Johnson where would we be without him? Looking forward to your call. Best time to get me is in the afternoon (after 1pm) Mon thru Thur…Dave

Argh. I will only consider the port if Turbo Pascal or a similar Pascal compiler is available. MCC doesn't cut it. So meanwhile, there must be someone who'd be interested in porting to Modula-2 or C, but Howard won't let them at the source. Hmmm. Anyone feel like writing an automated CIS program from scratch? Zapcis is great but there are 100 things it could do better… >Bela<

Well, if there is anything I can do to help you with the project, I'll do it. Howard will not let anyone else beside you get their hands on the source code (but then you just said that). I'm freaked, I really want it to run on the Amiga…Dave
