Probably did. I didn't look at that one when I next downloaded. I
will look closer in the future though since one of the messages that I sent
tonight was totally unreadable. I thought that I had seen the last of terrible
phone lines when I left North Carolina. HA! San Luis Obispo makes North
Carolina look like a dedicated line! ZapCIS must have sent an average of 2
'^U's for every command. If it had been a manual terminal program I would have
just given up! The '15' probably used '6-bit ascii' too.

Yes, unfortunately zapcis isn't >absolutely< reliable (there is a script by
Earle Robinson, for the comm program pro-yam, that is reliable enough for him
to go to Europe for a month and >count on< its having captured all messages in
the interim… but pro-yam's an unfriendly beast!) It's best to watch a zapcis
session and abort it (^C) if the line is too noisy. Anyway, zapcis sends a ^U
at the beginning of >every< line it sends, just in case. Doesn't cost much and
it at least prevents commands from being corrupted in most cases… >Bela<
