My system is much like yours: A2000, GVP 030/28 w 4 meg, 2 meg starboard, 1 meg Agnus, GVP HCII w Ricoh removable. I get the green screen but the debug window doesn't pop up….too much. Mostly when I'm doing downloads with ZTerm under multifinder. That's probably asking for trouble on a stock Mac, too. I'm using OS 6.03 — Art

art, I'm also using OS 6.03. Your message sounds like the debug DOES pop up on you. debug window doesn't pop up….too much…. so it does happen? How do you like the Ricoh removable? Bit expensive the carts? I'm using a Syquest and the carts are costing around $72 a piece. Maybe I'm crashing with AMAX more than you, because I'm trying to run Adobe's Illustrator 3.0 It is their latest incarnation of their structured drawing program. And it beats the heck out of ProDraw, I'm sorry to say! Maybe it'll give ProDraw something to aspire to? Anyway, I sure would like a rock stable AMAX II, I'd like to start using it for serious support when we start running into production delays here at work. But I'm tired of the debug window popping open every four or five minutes. It even pops open by itself with the machine idle! Chris ACCU-TYPE & GRAPHICS (a service bureau)

How long have you had your Ricoh removeable drive. I have one on order but GVP says they are back ordered 30 days. Are you using it under AMAX and if so how does it work. Thats one of the reasons I bought (buying) the Ricoh drive. Instead of having a partition on my Hard Disk for use under Amax II, just have all the mac software on the Ricoh cartridge, and when done with that, pop out that cartridge, on the Amiga side, use another cartridge for backup purposes and unlimited storage potential. And with a BridgeBoard installed, use yet another cartridge for use under that. Can't wait till it gets here!
