Has anybody here experimented with the new Nexus HardCard from Preffered
Technologies? It looks like a very nice package on paper, but I hate to be
the first to try out something.
I bought one at the World of Commodore show in Nov/90 and am quite
pleased with it. I have a Quantum LPS105 hard drive on the card. It comes
with some uility software for initializing/formatting/partioning the hard
drive, backup software, host SCSI adapter, Print spooler and can hold up to
4MB of RAM (Simm's). Their are three other software utilities that were not
ready at shipping but will be sent to registered owners as soon as they're
completed, they are DiskSurgeon, Powerbench and SmartCache.
