ALL: Has anyone seen a program task scheduler? This would be a program that automatically starts programs or a process at a scheduled time and/or date. DWM

You'd want 'NazCron'. Automatically runs progs that you schedule. Pretty flexible! I'm not sure of the status of it. I know that you can get it from Black Belt Systems on one of their disks…. Maybe someone else will know of other progs that are Shareware/PD. –jp–seattle–

David, There should be several in the libraries here. Try searching for the keyword "CRON". This comes from the Unix command of the same name for doing just what you're asking for. –dds (dales@teksce.SCE.TEK.COM) Whappeta-whappeta-Whap!

Perhaps one of these will do what you want: ACRON4.LZH 11 18K 03-20-91 Runs in background and starts tasks running CRON.ARC 11 10K 11-15-87 Set time for a program to run; it will start then NCRON2.ARC 11 36K 12-09-89 Start tasks according to time, date, day of week. NZCRON.ARC 11 25K 07-21-89 ARexx compatible detachable CRON 676 REMIND.ARC 7 4K 08-04-89 Arexx script for 'remind' messages to NazCron Notice that the first four are in AmigaTech, Library 11, and the last in AmigaTech, library 7.
