Mark, Regarding the local users' group Amiga show to be held in St. Paul, MN on March 13 and 14 that I left you a message about last weekend — this show is primarily intended as a "show the Amiga to the uninitiated" affair. The idea is for members of the group to have a half dozen tables at the shopping center running a good variety of Amiga applications, hold prize drawings (supposedly CBM is to supply two A500's to give away), and just generally get the public amazed and excited over the Amiga. This is not intended to be a developers or dealers show where new stuff to be shown off or sold. Things like this could be a lot of fun, not to mention useful in eexpanding the ranks of Amiga user groups. Darron

Thanks for the info Darron! Sounds like fun, but too far away (and too cold!) for me. 🙂 Mark

Mark, The far away I guess I can understand; but COLD!? We're having a veritable heat wave this winter — it got up to at least 25 deg. F. today; what more could you want? Besides that, haven't you heard that cold weather builds character? <grinning macho grin> Seriously, I think we'll have some fun doing this show; I've decided to let others do all the organizing and come in for only the fun part of the show — showing off the Amiga at one of the booths. Thanks for your interest. Darron
