Commodore is also offering reduced prices on Bridgeboards while supplies last. For right around $200 (I am not going to post dealer price) you can get an XT Bridgeboard and around $299 you can have an AT bridgeboard. See your dealer for details! Folks… do you think a new bridgeboard is in the works or what! 🙂 -mark= – via Whap!

That's interesting….. I work at a dealer and haven't heard of that. I guess we'll have to get on the phone tomorrow. Or the chief forgot to tell me. I did get a flyer for the Turbo XT bridgeboard – which nobody seems to know about either. Supposedly it is based on one of the NEC V20 chips running at 8 mHz (if I recall). It's also supposed to support some custom cabling that allows it to share the Amiga's 3.5" floppies, like the vaprous "Bridge Commander". -Jim

A couple of months ago I ordered a bunch of Commodore flyers for t different models and options. The XT bridgeboard flyer covered the new 2 2088T. Also, some time after that, we ordered a new AT bridge for a customer. The manual covered the Turbo XT board also. I also heard a rumor (!) that C= was about to release a 386 BB. Jim

I learned of the turbo bridgecard some time ago when looking through the Janus manuals. 🙂 -mark= – via Whap!

I went to a computer store the other day and was amazed that you could pick-up an IBM clone 386SX for around $500 buck and I an hearing more and more Amiga users selling their computer for an IBM clone. Perhaps CBM is trying to keep up with the market and have finally understood that the boards where really going for to much bucks. Robert
