John, I am sorry to hear that DataTax is not supporting the Amiga anymore.
Oxxi used to sell Tax Break but I believe DataTax bought the program from
them. Phasar from Antic Software comes with a tax program. It is a bit
more involved to set up than Tax Break but can be used for Tax planning.

Paul:
Datatax IS still being supported for the Amiga. Oxxi never actually wrote
Datatax. It's always been written by Datamax Research. Oxxi just handled
the distribution. Datamax was not happy with the marketing and support
from Oxxi, so they took over the distribution. IMHO, this was a good move
as I've never been impressed with OXXI. I put their support on an even
keel with Golddisk.

Paul,
It looks like they still do support the program, but they won't sell me a
copy until January 15th. I can understand not releasing the new version to
me, but I'd really like something to use for planning RIGHT NOW <g>! So, I
guess I bite the bullet and go buy some IBM-PC software.
