Hi, Bryan! Have not heard from you since you suggested I call Software support (have tried several times since) and I said I had had that recording that told me that transfer is not available. I still need the 2.2 CD-ROM extension. Is it such a problem to put the disk in a mailer and ship it out or did I miss something? Gilles – found the 2.2 version of MSCDEX over in the HPSYS forum. It might work for you.

Thanks for the location of MSCDEX 2.2. Hopefully, I won't have to depend on DAK's proverbial celerity to implement it!

>> …found the 2.2 version of MSCDEX over in the HPSYS forum. << What library is it in? What is the file name? I just searched libraries 1 and 2 for the keywords "MSCDEX", "MICROSOFT" and "ROM" and came up empty? Thanks!!!

I found it. Try "bro msc*.* lib:all" to find it. It's called MSCDEX.ZIP. I'm surprised it's there, considering it's actually Microsoft's property, and not freely distributable as far as I've ever heard. There is 1 Reply.

Since it isn't freely distributable, what crime are you guilty of for "downloading" it? <g> dave

I already own it – I downloaded it and verified it was byte-for-byte the same as what I had.
