LHARC problem

Betty, I'm still getting the same problem. Wherever I put LHARC, on typing
its name I get – "Unable to load Lharc : File is not an object module." I
have now downloaded theuncompressed version 3 times from CIX, the last
time being a version mailed to me with an assurance that it worked. Could I
have a hardware problem here? I have not come across any other software
which does this. Am I still doing something wrong? Bill
Bill, my question would be whether you are giving it the correct syntax.
Are you using it as a command, giving it the switches and arguments it has
to have?
First of all, when you type LHARC with nothing more, do you get a list of
instructions? If you have a good copy and you have it in your current
path, that should happen when you just type the name LHARC. If you get
those instructions, but still cannot make the program work, then we need to
work on the switches and other arguments. Please check it out to see if
you get the instructions, and if you do, we will go from there to get it to
work properly for you.
