I need some help with this one. I have a few MacDraw files that I would like to convert over to the Amiga using MAXII Transfer 2 program. When I cli click on MacPaint it does not show any files only if I click on "none, and MacBinary. How can I transfer those MacDraw files to the Amiga to convert them over to IFF later? When I use MacView it does not reconize the macformat after I tried "None" or binary" conversion. Robert

I believe that MacDraw and MacPaint files are different. As far as I know, MacDraw files are EPS. Try the Postscript setting. J.R.

MacDraw files are in a proprietary format. It can save structured "PICT" format files, too. Be careful, most PICT conversion tools only handle the "PICT bitmap" format, while MacDraw PICTs contain other structured (lines, arcs, etc.) elements. Which Amiga program would you like to load them? If you want a bitmap, then convert it to a bitmap on the Mac side. PhotoShop will do a nice job of loading a PICT and saving it as a pure bitmap in several formats including IFF. If you want to move it to Pro Draw or an Amiga structured drawing program, well, that's a different story. You could load it into Adobe Illustrator, save it as AI format, then move the file to an Amiga program that loads AI. I think Pro Vector does now. Or, save it as an EPSF and place the graphic in your favorite DTP program.
