What's your hardware configuration? The developer of the player spent many an hour debugging other peoples windows drivers, and I've seen some real strange behavior under Windows. John

Hey John, As long as we're on the subject, I loaded the windows player and it worked great on my VRAM at 640x480x256, but I keep getting UAEs when I go to play an animation on my Rasterex card using a TIGA windows driver. I tried setting the dualscreen setting to yes and no and removed it. I also removed the aavga.dll statment, nothing worked. Any ideas? Jay

I don't know much about UAEs but I got them on my machine when the device driver for my Iluminator conflicted with the CD-ROM driver/Audio driver. If I'm going to use either the CD or the ProAudio, I disable the Iluminator driver and vice versa when running 3D Studio. I've also seen the V7VESA driver conflict with the ProAudio under windows during installation of these devices for Comdex. It seems that the MPC will be targeted soley towards playback and introducing a framebuffer into that system will be way to difficult for the intended audience. John

Great, I havn't even tried to run it since I installed the ProAudio, I just got it the day before yesterday. I also just recieved the Sound Blaster Pro who's order I cancelled but not in time. Now I have two sound cards for one machine, anybody wanna buy one? I also have a Targa 64+ on order, I wonder how that's gonna fit in? <g> anywho, all I had running at the time was the TIGA extensions needed for the driver. I don't have a CD-ROM in this machine, and I didn't have a sound card at the time. Any other ideas? Jay

Jay: What would it take to "relieve" you of that spare SoundBlaster Pro? I might be interested, if it were a particularly good deal. Larry
