Technical Excellence finalist for Applications Software. It is regrettable
that the selected winner for the category was that darned FoxPro. Next
year could be it, though.

Unfortunately this year the PC Mag people didn't have a Graphics category
in their competition. All PC applications software was thrown together
into one competing mass. We were up against Microsoft Excel in addition to
FoxPro, and I was SURE that Excel was going to win. (I think the current
version of Excel is a pretty amazing programming environment, actually.)
