John – I noticed you got a UK reference for Chaos. It displays at 320×200
rez. If you want higher SVGA rez, check out Fractint on COMART forum
(channel 15?). Version 16.11 runs SVGA rezes fine on a Tseng chip and can
be downloaded. The book that gives a lot of cookbook stuff is Fractal
Creations (Wegner & Peterson) (My book version had v15.11, which didn't
work at SVGA rez.) James Gleik's book on Chaos is a great overview on"what
it means".

Hey! Thanks for the compliment, but most of Chaos runs at 640×480, not
320×200. (There is a little bit of 320x200x256 colors where appropriate.)
I do wish we supported even higher resolutions (and possibly help is on its
way) but let's not make it sound worse than it is.
