Avant-Garde – Just in case you didn't get my last message (it didn't have your UID on it), I've found and fixed two bugs in the M2Sprint libraries "Strings" and "EasySpeech". I'd like to upload the fixes here so the other M2Sprint users will have access to them, but I wanted to get your permission first, as the current owners of M2Sprint. Thanks … Anyone else who would like these fixes for M2Sprint: it might help if you left a message here saying so. If I can't load the fixes here, leave me EMail and I'll _describe_ the bugs and how they were fixed. Harry

I'd be interested in seeing ANY bug fixes for M2Sprint. David Czaya

David – You're on my list 8^). The CompareStr bug is the worst one, since it fouls up compares between string variables and string constants (the constants are not null-terminated, and CompareStr can't handle it). The Say bug is a simple buffer-length problem. I'll see what AG says about it and get back to you. Thanks … Harry

Yeah, I saw problems with CompareStr a long time ago and fixed it. I never saw the Say bug, but then again, I never really used it much. Thanks. And where are those 2.0 defs? 🙂 David Czaya

David – You fixed CompareStr already? Maybe if you get a chance you could EMail me your version. I'd like to compare my fix with that of someone who's used Modula-2 for a while and see what I did wrong 8^). 2.0 defs? I thought _you_ were doing those? <grin, duck, and run> Later … Harry

Soon as I get the chance…

Dave, Maybe if we could locate enough M2Sprint users on line, we could 'divy up' the defines creation job? wmc

Dave, I'd like the CompareStr and Say fixes as well! I nominate Dave to get the 'free bit' to provide support to the "Insignificant M2Sprint Users Group Bug Fix Catalog" effort!! Go dave!!! (BTW, insignificant was Leon's term, not mine…) wmc

Harry, Did you get my Email? Did you get the floatiing point bug fix from David? And, rhetorically, not directed to you, if AG won't provide support for a product they own in the AG section (after opting to get rid of the M2Sprint section that was hear originally) why do they even have a section (and a 'free bit')? wmc

Dear Harry: Please, feel free to upload any bug fixes which you have made. I have no problem with that at all… >> Leon Frenkel <<
