Chuck, Instead of LZ.LZH (which is a good program, but which must be unpacked before you can use it) you need to get LHARC.EXE from Library 16. LHARC.EXE is ready to go just as downloaded. You need to get it, put it in your C directory as LHARC, and then use it to unpack the programs you have downloaded. To get it into your c: directory, you could do it as you download. When you say "download" and CIS asks, "Name for your computer to use", type: workbench:c/LHARC (or whatever the path is to your c: directory) Then, to unpack WHap! – suppose that you have it on a disk named WHAP, and that the disk has plenty of room for you to unpack it there. Then, do this: CD WHAP: lharc -m -x x Whap:WHP19G I would also suggest that you get ARCHLP.EXE from Library 16. It is a tutorial that will help you with all of the archivers we use here. It is executable as downloaded, too. Once you have it, just type its name in the CLI or shell, and it will run. One more thing – we use full names here in the forum. Please stop at the Forum! prompt, type OPTIONS, select name, and type both your first and your last names. THanks. Betty

Betty, I want to thank you for being so helpfull. Even tho the message I just read was not directed to me and I already knew everything you described to "Chuck", I was very impressed with the way you took the time to take him thru the process step by step. Your attitude is one of the selling points I use when trying to sell CIS to my friends. I only wish all of the sysops were like you and did not assume the questions are coming from Amiga or CompuServe "experts".
