I have been using a DJ 500C with AMAX II for some time now. Note that a Desk Jet is not the same as a DeskWriter – the DeskWriter driver will not work with a Desk Jet. There is a PD Desk Jet driver that will work with AMAX in the HP Peripherals forum. (GO HPPER) I have used this driver via the parallel port without problems. There are some programs that don't like it, however (mostly Microsoft titles). -Frank – via Whap!

Frank, I've downloaded the hpdj.sit from the HP forum it's version 2.1 and YOU'RE RIGHT it's working on the parallel port of the Amiga we thank you VERY MUCH. Bye Michel Beausejour P.S i'll send a message to Erik Folm i'm sure that he will be happy about this one. Thanks again
