Hey Wayne…..
Just got back from the greenville tech session on 3d studio. I
just wanted to say having participated in the PPT program from both sides
now I think that you should be commended for the great job you have done.
The studio session was just what the doctor ordered. It lit a fire under
everyone in the class. I think everyone now wants to go out & do some
animation. Us teachers sometimes can't get enough time to learn ourselves
& sessions such as this help tremendously.
Nancy Fulton & Mark Gephart were great and Ted Roberts stopped in
for a special visit which was appreciated by all.

Roger,
Where is Chris Erikkson of Vanier? I did a ppt there 4 years ago. Nice
facility? I would like to get your opinion on the exercises done at the
Studio session – Like long enough or too long., what do we need more of –
less of, that kind of thing. What is the single best thing we can do to
improve the sessions. I will thank you also for Wayne and the MMETS. We
all need more ctime to learn and Sharing is or best way to multiply our
time here. Thanks,

Chris Ercikson left Vanier in Aug. 1991 to take a job in Ottawa. I
havn't heard from him since.
The exercises we did with Nancy were right on. The first two days
seemed to be more introductory in nature. which was right on for me
(didn't finish all tutorials before session.). The last two days seemed
more for the experienced participants, I must admit I did get a bit lost a
few times in the last two days. I think the session was well rounded the
experienced users weren't bored & the new users weren't being left behind.
My only complaint was the lack of "play time". I would have liked to stick
around for an extra hour some nights to just try out stuff we had done
during the day. I think there were classes after our session & the room
was locked during lunch due to security. Understandable.

Glad you liked the 3DS training in Greenville, Roger, but it was probably
Mark Gerhardt from our Training Dep't and not Mark Gephart. <g>

Well just checked his bis card & it reads Mark Gerhard…. will we
ever get it right… How ya doin randy how are the buckets of water & bolts
of electricity going ??
