I work for a 3D Studio/AutoCAD dealership here in New York. We've been
involved with several theatrical designers and organizations on a
consulting basis — including a Database of American Theaters which uses
many of the convenient database/graphics links in AutoCAD for
publicity/desktop publishing purposes.
In addition I personally have become involved with the formation of a group
(name and meeting times uncertain) expressly devoted to looking at the
potential role of different visualization/design packages in the set
design/presentation process.
