Does anyone know of a way to transfer large files from DOS to a Mac
via 1.44meg floppies. I'm looking for a utility similar to slice.com or
split.exe to put large files on multiple floppies as it's the only media
we have in common. Thanks.

I've seen a program in the Mac forums that will UNZIP a DOS file that's
been compressed with PKZIP, but not sliced or cut up files.
Your probably going to have to pass the files via modems or a null modem
cable. MacLink Plus, Timbuktu and several other programs exist to do this,
or you can make your own null modem cable-and use modem software to pass
the files. You must also convert the file once its on the Mac to Mac
format (Mac Binary format). Good luck!

I thought that would be the answer but had to ask<g>. The service
bureau is getting a PC eventually so transfer of targa/tiff files will be
simpler on my end. Thanks for the quick response.
