Could be a loose Agnes chip. There was a while when the chips were not
fitting tightly into the socket. The easy solution that might work if this
is the case is to pick your computer up a couple of inches above a hard
surface and drop it. I won't be responsible if this damages a computer in
any way, but I've seen a technician do it and it worked! Alternatively, you
can take the whole thing apart and just make sure all the chips are pushed
in tightly, particularly the Agnes, if you know which one it is.
Before doing any of this, I'd suggest RHS's solution (turn the power
off and wait awhile), becasue I've found that can work too.

Strangely enough, I too whacked the thing out of deparation, and it worked!
Nowadays I've discovered that a few firm pushes on the right side of the
keyboard and numeric pad can do the trick.
Modern technology. Go figure.

I don't know. I'm gonna' try the old trick of pushing firmly on the Agnus
Chip. I'm tired of beating my keybaord and I'm afraid my wife is going to
report me to Computer Abuse Hotline 😉

Well, upon further examination, I've discovered that the 68000 chip keeps
popping slightly loose. Try giving that chip a good push down and see what
happens. I've not had any problems since I taped that baby down good.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try also. If that doesn't work,
I was hoping to run some type of diagnostic program/hardware check on the
keyboard to decide if what I really need is another keyboard.
