Has anyone heard from Jack Radigan re JRComm? I tried calling his BBS last week and I got a recording but couldn't here what it said. In any case, I'm looking for a copy of `The Final List' or at least a list of Amiga BBS's in Florida and in particular, the 813 area code. Anyone? Skip

I sent him Email asking questions about the next release of JRComm. He answered about a couple of weeks later. He is on Compuserve. Richard -> via the Amiga 1000 AutoPilot

Jack, Ohhhhh.<embarressed><G>. I only heard that it was a phone company recording and so many times it's been that the lines no longer in use. Not yours. BBS's in general. Thanks for the info. Skip

Well I don't have the Final List but I do live in Tampa, Fl. (813) but I only call a few BBSs around here but I will list a few: Simply Amazing 977-3940 TBAG 889-9465 Bitter Reality 254-7493 There are more but these are the only ones I have available right now. If you need any more just let me know.

Anthony, Thanks very much. At least with the same area-code, they will be cheaper to call. I've been calling one in Ft.Lauderdale, I believe, and it claims to be the best Amiga board in FL. I don't like it at all. He's using Binkly-Term on a clone and it's very difficult to get the hang of and I don't like being `tutored' while paying GTE's long distance charges<g>. I'll try these. I completely forgot about TBAG. I had one of their disks a long time ago. Do they still meet? Skip

I haven't called any LD BBSs in Fl., all my LD is out of state. Yes TBAG BBS is up and running and has been for quite a few years now, I don't like the software he is running though, C-NET I believe. They still have their meetings at Jefferson High School. If you are interested in Graphics there is a User-Group called G-SIG that meets at the Amazing Computer store on Fletcher av. and we deals with every Graphics application around, from D-Paint to LightWave. I assume you live in or near Tampa? If you can drop by the next G-SIG meeting which are held the 3rd Saturday of the month at 12:30 pm.

Do you go to the User Group in Sarasota? I have been to the Amiga Store on University and was told about it but haven't gone yet, what kind of interests are most common there? Is there a strong Graphics (2D + 3D) support? For a living I deliver medical supplies to hospitals and every Tuesday I go down to Sarasota.

Anthony, I havn't been to a user group meeting yet. Right after I arrived here, I visited that store. They told me about the users group and that it was on very shakey ground. Apparently, according to the store owner, the group let it be taken over by some `kids' and the results weren't what they expected. I havn't talked to him since so maybe I'll stop by some day and find out the date of the next meeting. They meet in a Barnett bank over on Siesta Key and it's only about 3 miles from me. The store owner also put me in contact with a programmer in Port Charlotte. He wants me to illustrate a game for him. I agreed to do it but my last ventures into that type of work didn't do too well<g>. He's the guy that did my little Cool-Fills demo. Skip
