Which census data? There is cd data of pre-1790, 1790 1840,1850. These are
indexes only tho. There also was alot census data at the time the census
was in progress in one of the CServe sections. Feedback might have an
answer on that.
My mother is interested the old censuses on CD-ROM. Can you give me the
prices for the pre-1790 one you mentioned? and how to order it?
Do you know of other CD-ROMs the local geneology society might want?

GeneSys Automated Resource File and Automated Archives, Inc have a working
agreement which makes them appear to be the same company. They have about
30 CD's and the search engine "GRS." Phone 800-222-3766. GRS = $70, pre
1790 and most other census = $90.
They seem good to work with and from what I hear are inventing new CD's all
the time. The pre1790 like many early census are weak, listing names and
towns only. These so far are indexes and not full length documents. I
would get the catalog – which they mail out the day you call – and order
the GRS and one disk. See if is is what you expect.

Actually, my mother is the one interested in geneology. I was at her house
over the holidays and mentioned what I was reading as I read CIS.
