Does anyone know if the new Apple 300 CD-ROM Player is available yet? I'd
like to pick one up at MacWorld-San Francisco in January, if possible. I
know Apple is back ordered on many of it's CPUs, but I've not heard
anything about the CD-ROM Players.
Any advice appreciated!

I hear that it will be a while before Apple ships the 300 CD ROM player.
Apparantly it can't get enough units for its CDROM equipped 600 and VX
computers. Also the price will be higher than the $499 Apple originally
said.

Oh sh*t! I just sold my older CD player! Do you think one can be had at
MacWorld in SF? I mean, after all, the theme IS going to be multimedia,
right?
