#Strange Guru
7 messages in this thread
I have encountered a strange Guru message. I was trying to load Boing2!
(DL16) and it didn't work. Ever since then, using my Modem Workbench Disk,
when I try a 'loadwb', I get the following Guru:
Recoverable Alert
Guru #31038009.48454C50
^^
Means workbench error, right?
After I click the mouse, instead of recovering, I get another Guru:
Software Failure
Guru #80008031.48454C50
Strange…
I have tried copying a new 'loadwb' command from another disk, but no
difference. I have an Amiga 1000 w/512K. If anyone knows what is causing
this, I'd appreciate help. By the way, I've tried re-booting (warm and
cold), which doesn't help; and loadwb does work on other disks I have.

If other WB disks work, it sounds like you've got a munged or missing support
file — check yuor l, lib, devs, etc directories to see it anything is amiss.
Steve, Thanks, I copied the libs directory to the disk and all is fine.
