I'm looking for CD ROM applications for the medical field. If possible pertaining Dermatology. Could anyone guide me in the right direction ? Peter

I'm sure they are some medical CDs available. Try downloading the file vendors.txt which lists all vendors of CD-ROM discs. And see if they can provide you with any additional details.

I've seen a dermatology CD-ROM in my hospital library. Has the usual derm pictures such as in Kimmig and Janner. (I've always felt these were unhelpful because they show only the most dramatic versions of a given disease, rather than the more subtle things one sees in practice.) I can find out the name of the CD tomorrow and let you know it if you'd like. Sandy

Peter: There are dozens of medical titles, ranging from Scientific American's CONSULT (family practice) to NEJM and JAMA, to journals of specfic societies. I vaguely recall seeing a listing kept in the Medical Forum of CIS (GO MEDSIG). I don;t remember anything specifically involving dermatology, but if you have trouble, let me know and I can help find out about it. Best – Rich Bowers
